Jermaine Jackson has been married three times and has eight children. He first married Hazel Gordy in 1973 while still in the Jackson 5. Her father, Berry Gordy, was their current manager at the time at Motown Records. When brothers changed label due to creativity reasons, Jermaine left the Jackson 5 and produced many solo records under his father-in-law’s label. Jermaine wasn’t very successful without his brothers. Hazel and Jermaine had their first child Jermaine Jr. (often called Jay) in 1977. Their daughter Autumn Jackson was born in 1978.
In 1985 Jermaine had a daughter called Dawn. However, her mother was not Hazel. The couple did, however, remain together until son Jeremy Jackson was born in 1986 to a woman named Margaret Maldonado. Hazel and Jermaine divorced in 1987after fourteen years of marriage as Jermaine expected a second child to Margaret. Jaimy Jackson was born later that same year to Hazel. Jermaine began his relationship with Margaret Maldonado in 1988. A year later in 1989Jermaine and Margaret had son Jourdyn Jackson. The couple lived together in the Jackson family home in California (owned by brother Michael) until 1994 when they separated, having never married.
A year after separating from Margaret Maldonado, Jermaine Jackson married Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza. Alejandra had previously left and divorced brother Randy Jacksonthe year before – after fourteen months of marriage. They shared daughter Genevieve and twins Randy Jr and Donte. However, after the divorce, Alejandra was granted custody and the children lived with their mother and step father (Uncle Jermaine) in the same Jackson house in California. In 1996Jermaine and Alejandra had a child of their own together – Jaffar Jackson. They had another child together in 2000named Jermajesty before their divorce in 2004. This marriage of Randy’s ex-wife was rumoured to have caused a rift between the brothers. They have now, however, sorted it out as seen at brother Michael’s trial.
Jermaine Jackson married his third wife Haleema Rasheed in 2004after he permanently shifted to the Middle East. Though he resides in several estates, he doesn’t live in America but merely visits his children who live with their mothers. They often visit the Jackson Family compound in the Los Angeles district of Encino. Haleema and Jermaine are still married but they share no children.

I see Jermaine as a hopeless romantic, I think it has been extremely hard on all the Jackson when it comes to trust. How in the world these successful black men keep running into these half-breed chicks who just want their money and fame is amazing. Black men, sat down somewhere and settle down. Find a beautiful black sista to love, who deserves your love and strength, and yes their may be trials, but isn’t what Jermaine, Steve, and other cheaters going through with those artificial beauty queens worth having a woman who is a little bossy; a woman who in most cases is fighting with you, to save your stupid life; trying to keep you on the straight and narrow. The same woman who fights with you, will fight for you, when you need her to. Think about that brothers. If we sisters didn’t care about you, we definately would not spend the time and energy we spend on debating with you, trying to save your stupid life. Be the men we know you can be.

I dont think the issue here are the women……sounds to me Jermaine was a rolling stone. I take offense at you, Janistasia, for calling these women ‘half breeds’!!!! If a man has a roaming eye and other body parts…doesnt matter who he is married to at the time.

I agree that the problem appears to be more Jermaine but the women must also take responsibilty for their actions. Jermaine did not force Alejandra to do anything she was not amenable to doing. Jermaine has been a cheater for many decades. He claimed only 7 children recently but reportedly has an 8th (Dawn). In Maldonados book, she claimed he does not support his kids but Michael paid the bills. When I was a kid, I had a crush on him, boy am I glad we never met and hooked up!

I have always liked Jermaine, in that I have always loved The Jackson Five. But evidently Jermaine doesn’t have any scrupples. Out of all of the women that he could have been with, he chose to marry and have kids by his brother’s ex-wife. I cannot wrap my brain around something like that. There has got be tension in the family about that situation, especially when there are family gatherings. And I wonder how Jermaine’s kids by Alejandra feel about him; knowing that their mother is their Uncle’s ex-wife, and their cousins are also their brothers and sister. That is sick!
