Mo'Nique with husband Sidney Hicks
Comedienne extraordinaire, Mo’Nique, has been in the news and on Oprah talking about her weight loss, new perfume, new movie called “Push”, but nothing ran across the headlines about her having an open marriage. But, the latest remarks made by her husband, Sidney Hicks, to the media don’t really define there marriage as quite as “open” as the media would have one believe.
The man just gave them honest feedback on what would be the outcome if his woman was ever caught slippin’ ? Apparently, he doesn’t find infidelity to be a deal breaker and that’s the end of it. Maybe I’ve been out of the game too long, but when I think of someone having an ”open” marriage I normally think they are swingers. What about you? Read what he said here.

Yes, OPEN does hold the same SWINGER meaning for me. I have assumed this is what the term meant each time I’ve heard the couple discuss it and was shocked because I could not imagine Mo Nique taking part in any relationship like that. But Oh Well..to each his own..
