Oprah Winfrey is indeed a dog lover. We’re pretty sure that there’s not a bigger dog advocate than her. She is such a lover of these dogs that losing one is as deeply penetrating for her as the loss of a child. She was openly devastated when she lost her 13-year old cocker spaniel Sophie last year.
As you can see, she is posed with her “babies” on the cover of June’s “O” magazine. On her shoulder is one of the newer additions to her family, Sadie. Sadie and her brother Ivan were both adopted by Winfrey and both came down with the deadly parvo virus. But, these are not the first of Oprah’s babies to get the virus. Several of her dogs have contracted it.
She may want to invest in a better of team of caretakers for her pups, buy different doggy accommodations, and/or find a great decontaminator to keep them from contracting the virus. Heck! With her money, she could invest in the research to find the cure to the virus. Don’t be amazed if you see the new Oprah Parvo Virus Inoculation shot on the market next year.
