Not only am I black and proud but I am also black and beautiful because I was made in the explicit image of the one and only true God (as is all people). I hope one day, we of African descent will become so secure in who we are that instead of feeling resentment we will only feel pity for those who have a problem with the color black, for without it this would be one colorless and boring world. Think about it, Jesus must love color because most of nature and the world's population comes in shades of color. So I don't know if its ignorance or envy that make for such brainsick prejudice.
