Giving up cigarettes has never been harder now that the newest research has proven that the very items smokers use to give up smoking are linked to mouth cancer. The popular cessation products such as the lozenges and chewing gum are reportedly over used and/or may contain far too much nicotine to be useful.
The gum and other suppressants are being bought and used but they appear to cause the problem that they’re supposed to help the consumer avoid. According to the Times Online, 5,000 people in Britain are affected by mouth cancer annually. But even though the products may be causing the potential for cancer, researchers say keep using them, but like everything in life…in moderation.
