MC Hammer
Did y’all miss me yesterday? I missed y’all but I was out getting the dirt. I happened to roll out to Orlando this weekend specifically to check out an MC Hammer concert (lame right) only to be disappointed. Maaaaaaan, I was so pissed! First of all, Hammer hit the stage LATE…like he was Lil’ Wayne or Jay Z. Not that I am a fan of Lil’ Wayne’s but at least he has a lil’ room to be arrogant with a CURRENT #1 CD out! MC HAMMER ain’t had a hit since he was doing Taco Bell commercials using his baggy pants as a parachute. Now I can’t take away his dance skills, BUT I will say that Hammer was out of breath and doing 5-10 minute intermissions between every song! The dancers were raggedy AND they looked a mess! The highlight of his performance was his daughter. That lil’ girl can SANG! She ripped up all of the hooks that were once done by B-Angie-B (’member her). All I wanna say is Hammer Please Don’t Hurt’em No Mo’! Nuff said…

Speaking of RIDICULOUSNESS, Kate Moss has been inspired by a friend to write a cookbook! Y’all read it right. The waif thin, coke head, supermodel has decided to write a cookbook. Let’s just hope that the main ingredients ain’t coke (a-cola). Nuff said…

This may not be a shock to anyone but Dennis Rodman got kicked out of a Hollywood hotel for disorderly conduct. According to my sources Dennis was groping a female guest and cussin’ at folks. Personally, I would have thought that he would have been more into feeling up guys than gals, but that’s just me.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Mara Brock-Akil, the creator of CW’s “The Game” wants to make it an hour long dramedy and will pitch the idea to the network as early as this week! Yeaaaaaa…if the CW agrees to it. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and flood the CW with emails. I had the opportunity to dish the dirt with Barry Floyd…AKA…Tee-Tee, last week so be on the look out for that interview later on this week.

R&B/ Pop Singer Sammie done got rid of his manager. Thank GAWD!! As talented as Sammie is, he should have gotten rid of Malcolm Lee and Empire Entertainment way back when folks were confusing him with Lauryn Hill minus her locks. I personally couldn’t tell the difference. Not much of a compliment for either party but truth hurts. Nuff said…

Now you know when you get to be 40 you can not rap and dance at the same time (for that matter most pop singers never sing and dance at the same time) he should have asked Janet and Brit-Brit what to do. Much like Janet J. Hammer’s a showman, so people come for the dancing skills, not the rap skills, that’s why his videos used to be so popular. Poor Hammer. B-Angie-B, dang what happened to her—remember her with the purple dress and the armpit stains singing “Juicy Drives Them Crazy’. BTW further reading of your column I thought it was Martian week, then I realized I was just looking at Dennis Rodman….

Ya’ll need to stop – ROFL. Sonia, you got me dying over here thinking about B-Angie-B. However, I gotta give it to her…the song “I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love” was the sh*t back in the day! I’m speechless about Hammer. He should have just stayed preaching and left the music comeback thing alone. There ain’t no way in hell I’d buy a cookbook written by a crackhead skeleton and as for Dennis Rodman, what can you say. He literally takes being a freak to the next level. And no you didn’t find a pic of Scottie Pippin!!! Now that was old skool but real talk, who’s the chick seated next to him because if I remember clearly, wasn’t his wife a ditzy looking blonde?
