Once again, TIMES ARE HARD OUT HERE! It’s the only way some people are able to somehow make sense of the tactics they are taking to survive the economy. The latest result of desperation has come in the form of a father robbing a convenience store at gunpoint…with his daughter in tote. She was standing right next to him when he drew the gun on the cashier.
The cashier, who had also experienced rough times being a single father after losing his wife years ago, said that this economy or being out of cash is no excuse for this type of behavior. The man even talked to him more after taking the money he had in the cash register. The cashier, Erik Owens, came from behind the register and had a conversation with him.
