Suze Orman has finally said, what we all have wanted to say. It’s been reported that she said that Bush should feel so bad about his wrongdoing in office, that if she were him, “I would feel so absolutely horrific that I would take every penny I had and distribute it to anybody and everybody to help them in whatever way I could. You owe the American people every penny of your fortune and your family’s fortune.” Very well said, Ms. Orman, but doubt he’s going to have an attack of consciousness and do that.
The Bush family is sitting pretty after all of this you know? According to the U.S. News, his pension alone will be just a few bucks short of $200,000 per year. Then in 2010, it will go up to nearly $203,600. Then again in 2011, it will grow to nearly $211,000. Not to mention all of the investments he has. We know he wasn’t one of the Madoff victims … at least that hasn’t been reported.
The report goes on to say, if it makes it to his life expectancy of 83.5 years, he would’ve made $5.56 million. Who would’ve guessed that we would get this screwed by a President, then pay him for the convenience. Read here while you take your 2-ply down to 1-ply to make it to next week.
