Airports Homeless Won’t Go Easily

When you think of the homeless situation in any city the first thing you may think is the streets of downtown or alleyways in the city.  But the preferred spot, which makes plenty of sense, is in the nation’s airports.  There’s plenty of food, heat, and in a desperate attempt, a flight to wherever they would want to go in the world.

But in 2005, it was reported that they were a terrorist threat.  Now, there are agencies like the United Way that are helping take them to shelters and get them settled in more traditional housing.  But, as they shuttle them off, more show up in their place.   Some are ushered out in the daytime and are back in the evening.  The airports for the homeless has become a revolving door.  They just want to be comfortable like anyone else.
