Long Island Black Man Victim of Racial Hate?
Everyone has seen someone standing in front of a liquor store or any small store asking for change? Well, it appears that if you’re a black man standing outside a Long Island Deli you might become the victim of a hate crime if you are soliciting. It’s not certain that he was asking for change, but the stories are varying between the victim and the assailants.
A few Hispanic men and the off duty police officer (also Hispanic) began pummelling the victim with a baseball bat and telling him to “Go back to Africa!” and other racial slurs. The victim had a guardian angel though. They couldn’t go any further when he walked up and helped him. The victim is recovering from head, back and neck injuries. See the full story below:
