Dishin’ Dirt on LisaRaye, Kanye West, Diddy and Aretha Franklin…

 What’s up y’all?!  Here is the dirt…

LisaRaye is FINALLY talking about her divorce from the Prime Minister of Turks and Caicos.  She sits down and dishes the dirt with Essence Magazine in a two part interview.  Not only does she talk about her relationship with her estranged husband, she also addresses the bloggers who call her “ghetto.”  Now under normal circumstances I don’t call folks “ghetto” because let’s face it…we all know I can be a lil’ “soul” from time to time, but we also know that LisaRaye is the epitome of ”ghetto sophisticated” which is why we love her so much.  According to LisaRaye, she grew up beyond middle class because her father was a multi-millionaire.  Now LisaRaye and I both grew up on the south side of Chicago and I know some “hood” chicks as well as some “upper middle class” chicks and not once would I have EVER deemed her anything other than “hood” no matter how much money she had.  You can check out part one of the article by clicking here.  (more…)

Octuplets Born Healthy

Eight! Count ‘em! Eight babies were born into the world all at the same time yesterday.  The babies seem to be doing fine.  But, how in the heck do these couples expect to care for such a large family of infants.  It’s amazing that people, in these economic times would even be tempted to have children, much less fertility drugs.  While fertility drugs weren’t determined in the story, one can only assume, right?  How many people are having a litter of children…naturally?  What’s up y’all?!  Here is the dirt…

Michael Jai White and his wife recently gave birth to a baby girl by the name of Morgan Michelle.  Yada, yada, yada…we are happy for Mike and all but you know I have to give you the dirt.  Why did this fool do an interview with essence.com telling them that his wife proposed to him?!  Initially I thought that maybe he was exaggerating but he wasn’t.  According to essence.com she got down on one knee at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY and proposed to him.  You can check out the article here.

Side Bar- Ladies, school is in session so listen up.  I know this is the 21^stcentury and all, but can we PU-LEASE let a man be a man?  He all up and through the Cheesecake Factory cryin’ and what not…all the while rockin’ an engagement ring!!  Now I ain’t sayin’ that Michael Jai White is a beeotch…but I am saying that one would say that he may have some beeeotch tendencies.  You do the math!  Nuff said!  The school bell has rung and class is dismissed.
