Cell Phones Banned Behind the Wheel?

cell-phone-driving.jpg

Cell phone use is really out of control.  If I have to swerve from someone who is letting their car drift into my lane because they’re completely absorbed in conversation one more time this week, I’m going to lose it.  I remember when some people made a big stink out of cell phones being used in restaurants.  That doesn’t bother me, but what does is someone unwittingly preparing to take my life in a car accident.

What we need to do is go back to the old cell phones the size of a VCR.  You might need an assistant just to make the call.  And what happened to the vehicles with telephones in them that looked like your mom’s home rotary phone?  Whatever the case may be, I for one am happy that someone is bringing this issue to the forefront.  Where is the petition?  I will sign it in a heartbeat!  Does anyone else feel the same or are youe too busy on the cell to read this story?

  1. I agree, I live in Pa,,they are not banned yet, in NJ you have to use a hands free device,,just yesterday the subway in PHilly has established quiet cars, one people can go into without listening to half the people on cell phones talkin about a bunch of ‘nothing…
