The whole world is stunned and relieved at Barack Obama’s victory. The people of the U.S. see it as not just his win, but, for the first time, a win that we share with the President. We supported him and it finally feels like we weren’t hoodwinked or cheated. We went to the polls in unprecedented numbers and got the result we expected. Both of Bush’s elections seemed to cheat the American people out of their vote, but now democracy has spoken. This is awesome!!! This is why I want to be a part of history for his inaugural day. I want to tell my grandchildren that I was there when they swore in the first African American President of the United States.
