Satire Strikes Obama Camp Again

We recently reported the terrible caricature of Michelle Obama being branded and surrounded by the Republican’s as KKK members and here we are yet again.  The New Yorker has no real excuse for its cover outside of Editor David Remick being quoted saying, “Satire is part of what we do.”  That statement says absolutely nothing in defense of such an inflammatory depiction of the Democratic Presidential candidate.  The claim is that they are giving us a summary of what has been said about Obama and his wife, but it screams racist and inflammatory.  What do you think?  Read the full story here.

    The only reason that this Mr. & Mrs. Obama satire DOES have impact — and may very likely spread — is because like all good satire, or good humor for that matter, there’s more than a germ of truth in it. Otherwise, the satire would utterly roll off the Obamoids’ backs, having no impact.
